Phil, how do you not know #64? Isn't that YELLOW SUBMARINE or one of the other Beatles' movies?

Lisa said...

80 is Harold & Maude not Rosemary's Baby.

Lisa said...

I believe 7 is To Kill a Mockingbird. (that's the one with Scout isn't it? and Dill?)
this is dave btw, not lisa

Philip Deskins said...

I think Dave is right about TO Kill A MOCKINGBIRD, but if he is, I guess I was wrong about #66. Also, Jennifer has already corrected me about HAROLD AND MAUDE. Plus, I've never seen YELLOW SUBMARINE, but I've now confirmed that it is #64. The Beatles movies are kinda hard to watch. Even the one's the critics like i.e. A HARD DAY'S NIGHT.

Lisa said...

Nevertheless, I'm impressed.
...and this is Lisa. Not Dave.

Sherman said...

Phil, try watching the Beatles' movies without sound. I'm sure it's an improvement. I think #66 may be GENTLEMAN'S AGREEMENT, but I'm not 100% sure of that. I haven't seen it in years. I did finally remember what two more were. 96 is LOST WEEKEND, the movie that made me want to be an alcoholic. 57 is from the original MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE.

And this is Marc, not Lisa or Dave.

The reason you don't get any of the Beatles movies is that you have to remember that was the 60's man and in order to relate to those movies you really needed to be in the same cosmic realm as they were and we just don't have access to the same high grade pharmacueticals as they did in that decade. Ask someone who was on that level at that time and they probably can't tell you what they are about either.

So, to get the real experience of the era, should I also stop bathing?
