Well as you can see, the scar is looking a little better. Looking back, the surgery wasn't that bad. The incision itself didn't really hurt at all, the morphine took care of that. The pain mostly came from my bladder that wouldn't function. You see, during surgery, they put a tube in my business (something they forgot to inform me going in) which makes it really difficult to urinate afterwards. Most of my pain was the direct result of my bladder swelling to the size of a football. At least thats what it felt like.

Yeah, I'd heard catheters are no fun! I hope the bladder is back to normal! I hope the recovery continues to go well!

Keep the posts coming!

Thanks for not showing us more of your "business" in that photo. Woo Hoo!
Catheters aren't so bad, as long as it's not hooked to a bag that you have to empty for your loved one. Been there

Megan's right. That was a close call on the business, Phil.

What is up with you and sports ball sized masses in your body? A baseball size tumor, a football sized bladder... what's next? A basketball sized spleen? Oh wait, didn't Kristin already have that?

Get well soon. Blog more often.
