DUCKS, SWAINS AND CRANES

I went to Bardstown this weekend (a lovely place) to visit Jennifer's Dad, Ed, and her Stepmom, Rosemary.
From Ed, I learned about the Sandhill Crane.
A beautiful species of bird that Kentuckians are itching to kill.
I guess they're getting bored with hunting down Bambi's mom.
It sounded ridiculous to me so I will support the birds by putting the above banner on my blog.
If you want to help support them with me, you can sign a petition here.

Also, from their grandson, Gresham, I learned about The Duck Song.
Apparently, it's all the rage.
It got stuck in my head all weekend.
